Dica Musical da Semana.

Eu ando completamente viciada em Hefner. A banda é antiga, nunca foi muito badalada, nem sequer os fãs de geek rock conhecem muito bem, o som é bem normal, mas eles têm umas frases geniais, que dá vontade de ouvir e reouvir o tempo todo.

Viciei, especialmente, em dois discos, que são o Fidelity Wars, e Breaking God's Heart (esse nome já é legal). Se você tem algum respeito musical por mim, procure-os. Ha.

Pra ter uma idéia, cerca de 50% das músicas são hinos. Hino ao cigarro, hino ao alcool, hino ao serviço postal, hino ás coisas que nunca fizemos (que é de cortar os pulsos: We didn't ache enough, spent our days not getting up and now I sing a hymn for all the things we didn't do,
We didn't work enough, avoided all the tricky stuff and kept our problems underneath the duvet with our hearts.

Bob Dylan que vá a merda, mas atualmente eu preciso é de frases de pessoas em torno dos 20 anos tendo crises: We feel so empty, and our late twnties should be better times.

Genial. Simples. E usável. Além das melodias serem assobiaveis e dançaveis, especialmente na cadeira do trabalho.

Ah, o frontman e "dono" da banda, Darren Hayman é um geek boy sooo cute.
